Žagarkalns is probably the best place to learn to ski
Our team of instructors in Žagarkaln has grown and improved together with you since 2000. At the moment, we can say with confidence and pride that we are a model for all others working in this industry in Latvia and the entire Baltic region. All our instructors are certified professionals according to international standards, endowed with the necessary understanding and intuition to teach technically correct and safe skiing to anyone who wants it.

We offer safe ski tracks with beautiful views
The main slopes, which are Žagarkalns, Cīrulkalns, Meža trase, Ofis trase and Vendene
long hill, are intended for all those who already know how to ski or snowboard. On the other hand, the training area, which consists of four tracks, is adapted for safe training of children and beginners.
For fans of extreme sensations, the Subaru freestyle park will be suitable for snowboarders and freestylers with good skills. The tracks are suitable for different levels, so every visitor will be able to find the most suitable track.

"Žagarkalns" offers 12 tracks of different difficulty connected to each other, both long and smooth descents and more dynamic tracks with steeper sections and sharp turns are available. Latvia's largest professional ski training school operates in the complex, so this is the best place to learn to ski and snowboard, as well as enjoy holidays at children's schools.
The recreation complex "Žagarkalns" has all the necessary equipment for rent, a cafe and all other services necessary for the ski base.

"Žagarkalns" also offers excellent recreational opportunities for those who do not ski.
For those who are not yet ready to get on skis and like to enjoy nature views on a leisurely walk, we offer the Cīrulīš nature trails, which will delight visitors with the picturesque rocks on the banks of the ancient valley of Gauja. But if activities don't appeal to you, please yourself with delicious Belgian waffles and a hot drink at the Žagarkalns cafe.
